Sunday School for all ages

Come Join us for Sunday School Bible Study

9:30 am Sunday Morning

Children's Sunday School

At New Covenant Baptist Church, we believe the Sunday School ministry is a vital part of our fellowship. It is a family small group atmosphere where people can growth in faith, build lasting relationships, support one another, and reach others with the Gospel.

The 3 main purposes of our Sunday School are: 1. To reach others with the Gospel and bring them to a vibrant relationship with the Lord Jesus. 2. To teach men, women, teens and children the Bible, the life changing truth of God’s Word. 3. To serve to one another, sharing one another’s burdens, encouraging one another, loving one another as Jesus has loved us.  We invite you to join us on this journey of discovery.

Preschool

Sunday School teaches preschoolers that church is a family where they are loved and accepted. The Bible is used continuously by teachers while children enjoy developmentally appropriate activities. Our teacher, Nancy Bertrand, loves babies and toddlers.

Children’s Sunday School

K through 2nd grade. This class is taught by Darlene Hinkle. Our Sunday School curriculum is designed to teach boys and girls about their relationship with God, Jesus, the Bible, the Church, their families, and others. All of the units and sessions apply Biblical truths to daily living.

Grades 3rd-5th. This class is taught by David Bertrand. Kids will learn to know the Bible and apply it to their life at home, school, and neighborhood.

Youth Class

Youth in grades 6th-12th.  Our Youth Ministry is impacting the lives of these young people and cultivating tomorrow’s leaders today. Jessica Bertrand leads this class. We focus on teaching the Bible in a way that is easy to understand and ready to be applied to ‘teen life’.

Adult Bible Study Classes

We are blessed to have two Mixed Adult Classes. The first is lead by a team of Bible teachers and takes a verse-by-verse approach to Bible study. Class members are encouraged to share their thoughts and contribute to the study.

The second mixed adult class is lead by Dr. Michael Shockley and Dale Park and meets in the Fellowship Hall. Dr. Shockley is a gifted teacher of God’s Word. His approach is verse-by-verse, expository teaching. Class members also share their questions and insights together. They share their concerns and pray for each other.
