Pastor Richard will bring the message, The Power of a Confident Heart, from 1 John 3:21-24 at our Sunday morning worship service. Confidence is vital to success in any area of life. We have to believe in order to achieve. Whether it is advancing in your career, investing your money or competing in sports, you must be confident in order to win.
Confidence is a key to success in our spiritual lives as well. But our confidence in not so much in ourselves as in our God. Pro. 14:26 says, "In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge." Last week we looked at the problem of a condemned heart. In this week's passage we will examine the power of a confident heart. We will see that a heart that is confident in God will give us power for confident prayer, confident obedience, confident faith and love, and confident Spirit-filling.
